Cherry Blossoms

This past Monday we joined our friends the Wilcox's for a Cherry Blossom's adventure in DC. This is a random note before I start the real post, I just didn't know where to fit it. On our way back to the metro the presidential motorcade came through after President Obama returned from throwing out the first pitch at the Nats home opener. It was our closest encounter with the President! Let' s just say I'm glad we were walking and not driving at that point. Traffic was locked down for blocks and for a long time.

Anyway, back to the cute pictures of the kids. Kris and Emma had a great time together on the metro.
Little pouty face.
Making our way to the tidal basin (Matthew is admiring the intricacies of his dad's metro fair card).
My darling girl.
We're here!

My big, toothless boy.
Buddies.
Serious chocolate milk drinkers.
Esme was a little angel the whole trip. Cara was pretty nice too. ;)
Back to the metro in the bright sun and heat. Go daddies!
We really enjoyed out time with you guys, Dave and Cara. What can we do next?
