Big Buzzed Boys

Jack doesn't have a lot of guy buddies that are a little older than him. I think today I realized how much he looks up to Noah. I was looking at this picture, and noticed the two boys in the center, and Jack is looking to Noah as if to say, "What are we gonna do here, bro?"

Then today we had playgroup at the Germantown Library. What a cool place! Anyway, the boys gravitated to each other once again.

It's funny, I remember when Noah was just learning how to say "school bus" and now my guy is learning how to say it! I've always thought they kinda looked like brothers. I think the buzz cuts help.

When we had to leave, Mrs. Beth helped me out so much by reading to Jack while I got Emma packed up and in the car. Then I saw all 3 of them walking out of the library hand in hand. It was too cute to not get a picture (even if it was raining). So I made them re-pose.

It doesn't appear that hand-holding comes naturally for either of these boys. :)

Mrs. Beth, thank you so much for the multiple ways you took care of us today! Noah, thanks for being a boy I'm proud my son looks up to.

Basketball Jack Jones

We had some beautiful weather this weekend and the boys took full advantage of it. Although, Jack was a moving target (as the blurry pictures prove).

This next picture was post puddle encounter...

Notice the mud gotee...

Here are my two basketball boys...

For any who were worried where Emma was during this whole time, thanks for your concern. :) She was sleeping happily and I was checking her monitor frequently. Next post will be some of the cutest pics I've taken of her yet (in my humble, motherly opinion).

Sleepless in Seattle

I just took this video of my two kiddies "playing together". What they really should have been doing is sleeping. That's evidenced in that Jack never lays still for longer than 5 seconds and here that's all he did!

Here are a couple fuzzy pictures to accompany:

Jack as Pop-Pop

Croakies and all.

4-Month Check Up

For some reason I always forget that "well check-ups" mean "You're child is healthy and happy so we're going to stick her 4 times with a needle so she'll scream." Ok, I know the nice doctors and nurses aren't mean people, it's just that I only seem to think that well check-ups tell me how big and pudgy my kids are and I conveniently forget about the shots part. Emma took it like a big girl (picture beat red face and large tears while trying desperately to calm herself by vigorously sucking on as many fingers as possible.)

Here are a couple pictures I snapped as soon as we got home. Poor, tired girly.

On a happy note, she weighed in at 16.6 lbs, stood/laid at 25 in. long, and a head circumference of 43 somethings (I'm guessing/hoping centimeters). That puts her in the 95th percentile for weight, 75th for height, and 90th for head. Feel free to comment on my mammoth children. I can take it.
