Another Day at the Park

Noah and Jack decided to drag their mommies to the park on Tuesday. They insisted on wearing their shades.

Here's Emma doing an impersonation of Jack going down the slide.

Chillin' on the duo slide.

I neglected to bring any toys for Emma so she was forced to play with the camera.

Then we decided it was time for a photo shoot. All girls love photo shoots, right?

Well, maybe by this point she was ready to move on.

The boys found the coolest tree house.

And wore themselves out taking turns hitting this one branch. Boys will be boys.

But the trip to the park ended very happy for us all.

Air and Space...Wow!

On Saturday we made a trip to one of our favorite places: Washington DC. We grabbed Smoothie King on the way and I let Jack have the last couple sips of mine:

It was such a beautiful day. Below Jack is showing off one of his battle wounds while Emma sulks.

Jack and Emma were thinking two different things when Momma said "Cheese!".

And then we made it to the Air & Space Museum. Jack was mesmerized by all the air planes.

And, just for fun, and very bright eyed Emma Lu Who.

The Park and A Walk

Later in the day I was crazy enough to take 3 kiddos on a walk at once. We were quite a site. As you can see below Andrew and Emma put on their happy faces. (Btw, this is Andrew, one of Jack's new friends.)

Play time afterwards...

I just can't be outside enough on sunny days! And as you can see, Emma was eating it up!

Jack's 2nd Birthday Party

I had the greatest intentions to take pictures at Jack's birthday party, but I was a bit too busy playing hostess and Mommy. So, please enjoy the slideshow, courtesy of Beth "what would we do without you" Techtmann.

Note 1: The slideshow is at the bottom of Beth's post.

Note 2: Emma didn't mean to steal the show, but she was just being a little too cute to not take, oh, a zillion pictures. You'll see what I mean.

Big and Tall

"You sure do make big kids." This was the basic summary from our pediatrician following yesterday's visit.

Jack's 2-year stats:
38 1/2 in. tall (off the charts)
32 lbs. (90%)

Emma's 6-month stats:
27 1/2 in. long (95%)
18lbs., 11 oz. (96%)
44.3cm head (95%)

We don't mind Jack being off the charts, but in order for Emma to be marriage material she can't be two feet taller than all the guys! :)
