Christmas Pics

Our dear friend Beth took these lovely pictures during a play date recently. I highly recommend her skills.

I've Been Tagged

There's this random "tag" game going around the blog world. According to the rules, once you've been tagged, you go to your sixth picture folder, find your sixth photograph and blog your memories of the photo. Well, I was tagged by Beth. So here it is.

I lucked out. This is one of my all-time favorites! This is Jack around 3 or 4 months old. We were out by Nonna and Pop Pop's pool. Here are a few other pics from that day.

Ok, so he's wearing 4 different outfits in the above pictures, so maybe it wasn't the same day, but they're still cute. :) (I really thought they were the same day!)

Abbey Christmas Party

Our fam recently attended the Abbey Christmas party. The "Abbey" is the name of the household I lived in when I was single. We had to get the classic picture in front of the tree. Easier said than done.

Jack really is happy to be in our family, even though his facial expression may try to convince you otherwise.

Failed Photo Attempt(s)

I give up! (I think we all did.)

Emma and Sophie Meet

It was all very exciting for Emma.

The girls weren't used to sharing their Aunt Meghan, but they learned to get along. They're both about the same size still (although, Emma is starting to outpudge Sophie). The picture below isn't really fair to Emma.

We're looking forward to these girls growing up together.

Emma finally got her Aunt Meg all to herself. Despite the indifferent countenance, she was very happy about it. Aunt Meg, Emma is very grateful for you. :)

Just Because...

Just because it's been a little while since the last post, here are some (somewhat) recent pics of the growing boy...

Blocks

Jack has recently taken an interest in building with blocks. I think his favorite part is dumping them all out over the floor. Above is a video I took a few weeks ago before bedtime. It is rare footage of Jack building with blocks and not getting angry when they fall.

Today at lunch

Maybe it's not as endearing to anyone else, but I just loved seeing my little boy on his wagon eating his Dadda's favorite lunch: peanut butter and jelly with milk. (The sandwich soon after ended its life deeply embedded on the bottom of his shoe collecting leaves, dirt, and pine needles...not so endearing.)

Couldn't help myself

This afternoon she just looked too cute not to shoot!

Thank you, Great Grandma Miller for the outfit and Great Grandma Audrey for the handmade blanket!

1 month old

My pediatrician asked me recently if we only make BIG kids. I guess so! Emma went in for her one month appointment this past week and weighed in at 11 1/2 pounds (95%). I just hope she eventually becomes average. I can't imagine how big she would be in the 95th percentile at age 16! Anyway, here are some recent pics of our little Chunker.

Jack initiated the hand-hold in the pic below. He's a wonderful big brother to his little sis.
And for the fun of comparison, here are some similar poses from Jack around the same age.

Look at those rolls! Jealous?
