Exciting landmarks

A few exciting things have happened in the Marcantonio family recently. One is that my husband celebrated his 32nd birthday. For his birthday I sent him on a surprise outing which ended up being golfing with his buddies (Kris is on this golfing kick recently where it seems its all he can think about!). I also tried to make him a cake for his actual birthday. Little did I know that one of the girls in our care group who is a professional pastry chef was making him one too! Can you guess which one is mine and which one is hers?

Jack was also celebrating his 8 week birthday so I gave him a little shout out on the cake as well. And what would birthday cakes be without someone to blow out the growing number of candles?! Below is a picture of the technique used by my very mature husband. We call this the spit extinguisher (can you believe we all still ate it after this?).

Another exciting thing that has happened in our family is that our little boy has found his hands. We think he's right-handed bc that's the one he's always going for. These pictures also give you a better view as to why he's a 16-pound 2 month old! He's our little Butterball. (I think sooner or later his Pediatrician is going to find out we sneak him steak and potatoes.) Check out those rolls!!

What in the world?! Were either of you chunkers when you were little? Because I'm totally not understanding where those rolls come from. But hey...more to love! He's ADORABLE.

Happy Birthday, Kris!

Why, those aren't rolls, they are muscles! My little Prince is perfect in everyway for he is fearfully and wonderfully made...right Jack?

Happy Birthday Kris!

Now, it comes as no surprise to me that Kris interest in golf has peeked. He is the Grandson of the "Golfing Grandmother"...17 times Club champion. Kris, Grandma would be proud.
