Chick-fil-a
Emma didn't get to climb on any of the apparatus, but she sure did a good job of being cute!

A Tooth for a Tooth
Unfortunately, the same day her tooth arrived, Jack lost a big chunk of his! He was trying to take a zipper sweatshirt off and got tangled in it and fell face first into our kitchen floor. It was so sad. I never imagined something like this happening to my little boy. I tried to get a picture of it today, but it's kinda hard to capture, but it will work for our purposes.
(Of course every picture with Jack has to have lots of drool in it.)
Another milestone for Emma is that she can now roll from back to belly, and she sure loves doing it! She did it for her Nonna on Saturday for the first time. She's scootin' all over the place now, doing the belly crawl.
The older Emma gets the more Jack enjoys interacting with her. She makes him laugh now. This morning they both woke up at 5 and Kris brought Jack into our bedroom and I followed with Emma. They both laid on our pillows making each other laugh while Kris and I sat back and enjoyed them both in our drowsy state. We love being your parents, Big Jack and Sweet Emma.

Sick, Real Beds, and Complete Sentences
Well, at least when you're sick you get to watch videos! This was my boy this evening watching is favorite video, "Petting Farm". I thought he was cute sitting there in a daze with his balloon by his side.
I think about half of Jack's brain is occupied with things solely from this video.
In other news, Emma is finally sleeping in a real crib! She has been in a pac n play up until this point. (The second kid never has it as cushy as the first.) On Saturday Jack transitioned to sleeping in a "big boy bed" and bequeathed his much-loved crib to Emma Kate. He's taken to it well. Today for his nap he slept for 2 hours, got up, cried for some juice, played for an hour, and then fell back asleep for another hour. I'm not sure what to expect with this new bed thing. Some moms have said their kid stopped napping altogether when they made the transition. Lord help me, but my kid needs a nap.
One other update, Jack's vocabulary is skyrocketing. He's putting together very short sentences now. Today he said something like "Jack eat banana." (We've also noticed he loves to talk about himself. For those of you who know me well you'll agree with me that he gets that from his father).
