Easter and Ice Cream

This past weekend we spent Easter with Nana and Coach (Grandma and Grandpa). We spent the first 2 hours in the front yard enjoying the weather. Jack was learning how to throw a football. He also made friends with a very old, stone garden rabbit (seated to his right).

Jack also has a growing interest in my camera.

Then Mom brought out the ice cream! Jack has only ever had a bite before (snuck in by Daddy around 6 months old), so that day he was very interested in enjoying what we seemed to be.

Our first Easter together. All four of us. :)

Sippy Cup

Jack is currently taking drinking lessons. He's learning how to do all sorts of things for himself, and drinking is one of them. From the obvious leakage below you can see how much of a learning process it is.

You gotta start somewhere!

Jack's Gonna Be a Big Brother!

We are pregnant!

I'm about 12 weeks along, feeling very well (praise the Lord!), and happy as can be. We're calling him/her Peanut for now. We were inspired by this sonogram.

A Walk and Day in the Park

This past Monday our Play Group took the party outside for a walk to the park. It was just too pretty to not be outside. Noah and Jack rode in style to the park.

(In the picture above I told Jack that all models look like they smell something in the distance...although, in his case he may be smelling something not so distant!)

Then it was off to the swings. I thought it was so cute that they are looking at each other in this picture.

My hair in 8th grade kinda looked like Jack's in this picture.

Renee and Jessica...roughin' it. As if any of us needed proof that being a mom is hard work...here it is. :)

(He was so proud of his accomplishment: taking his sock off)

Noah, what a little man. He made sure Jack's wagon was put away. How chivalrous!

It's all in a day's work.
